I only saw him once

I don't know what brought me to Tiny Tim's site tonight, but it felt like a due visitation. I only saw him once. A photograph of him with his Ukulele. That was back in 1967. I was 13 years old and had just arrived to New York from Puerto Rico.
The look of that artist said it all. It was obvious that Frank Zappa was inspired by Tiny Tim's look and attitude. I never heard Mr. Tim's music then or after, yet, the impression that that particular photo made on me has haunted me for the last thirty four years, like the myth of a legendary hero. the fact that I have never heard his music made it more of a mystery.
It is perhaps what brought me to search information about him tonight, after all those years.
